The application period for the Sustainable Cities Summer Camp is from 16 February – 16 March 2025.
All applicants will be informed about the decision by the beginning of April.

We ask this to check if you will be in the 16-18 age range during the camp. Make sure to enter in the following format DAY/MONTH/YEAR

Gender (for accommodation purposes) *We understand gender is complex and not everyone fits into categories of "male" or "female". We are collecting this information for general planning purposes but will consider individual circumstances.

Nationality *Which nationality/passport/other status will you use for travel?

Your current/last school *We ask this to track if we have many applicants from the same school

Place of residence *Please tell us the city and country where you currently live, e.g. "Rome, Italy"

From where would you most likely travel to the camp? *From which location would you most likely be travelling to the camp, if you are selected? This usually will be your place of residence.

To where would you most likely travel after the camp? *To which location would you most likely be travelling after the camp, if you are selected? This usually will be back to your place of residence. If your destination before/after the camp does not match your place of residence, please provide a short explanation in the optional field at the end of the form.

Here's a few tips for the next few questions:

We want to find out about you!
This is not a school exam, there are no "correct" answers.
Reading lots of very similar essays (maybe written by Chat GPT) is very boring for us and makes it hard to select you. It's much better to have answers that tell us a bit about you, your background and your way of thinking!
Not many opportunities? No problem!
Some people have lived in three different countries and attended 17 different camps and youth programmes already. Maybe you have not had these opportunities. That doesn't make you a bad candidate! In fact, we want to actively encourage applicants who have not yet had many opportunities!
